Winter League for 2020 is open for registration for all returning teams. This is a team league that is will be filled with entirely returning teams. If you're interested in finding a team, please go to the MNWinterleague Facebook page and post your ultimate bio!
This will be the 20th Anniversary season. I'm pretty excited to have made it this long. :)
***Same rules for the most part, but as an effort to increase opportunity for all, we're going to continue with the pilot we started last year and have the "Offense chooses" rule. This allows whichever team is on Offense at the start of a point to determine the 3F/2M or 2F/3M gender ratio.
As we did last year and given winter league's history with varied attendance from week to week, please confirm with the other team's captains prior to a game if your numbers are low in either gender and work out whatever makes sense for that game. We hope this further increases female participation both within the league and on the field. Please set up your teams accordingly.
We set this in motion with the goal of making the league as fun as possible for all players. If you have concerns or if any issues arise, please email me.
Dates for 2020 are as follows with games on the hour from 6pm and the last game at 10pm:
- January 5, 12, 19, 26
- February 9, 16, 23
- March 1, 8, 15
League cost is $650
